The Sudanese Red Crescent Society signed an agreement with the Qatar Red Crescent - Sudan Office with support from the Qatar Fund for Development Qatar Red Crescent, to implement a project to support the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, to compensate for the damage sustained and loss of property, cars and assets in Khartoum and its branches in some states as a result of the current crisis. It was signed by the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Secretary-General Aida Al-Sayed Abdullah and from the Qatar Red Crescent, head of the Sudan office, Dr. Salah Al-Din Daak The signing ceremony, which coincided with the closing session to review Qatar Red Crescent programs, which was held in the conference hall of the Al-Sawahili Hotel in Port Sudan, was honored by the Federal Minister of Social Development, Mr. Ahmed Adam Bakhit, and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, Mr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim. In the presence of ambassadors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Morocco, Palestine, the Sultanate of Oman, the Director General of the Health Sector in the Red Sea State, Dr. Ahlam Abdel Rasoul, the Secretary-General of the Drugs and Poisons Council, the representative of the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Babiker, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Sudan, the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, and representatives of international organizations UNICEF and the High Commissioner for Refugees.
